Involved in the floral industry for over 20 years, Cathy has received top honors in numerous competitions, including the coveted SAF Sylvia Cup and the Golden Gladiolus Award for winning the 13th Annual California Top Ten Competition. She has appeared as a commentator and designer for industry events throughout North America. A cum laude graduate of West Virginia University, Cathy first won international recognition for her work during the 1984 Olympic Games held in Los Angeles; designing the awards bouquets, venue arrangements and hotel settings for the International Olympic Committee. Her work has appeared in numerous publications including Flowers & Magazine, Modern Bride, Orange County Magazine and Club Management Magazine. Her designs cotributed to the success of Teleflora's Counter Selection Guide as well as Teleflora's acclaimed Wedding Album. Cathy is a Past President of the Southwest Chapter of AIFD and co-chaired AIFD's 1996 National Symposium is Palm Desert, California. She is a member of Teleflora's acclaimed Education Specialist Team. She has a strong background in the "business" of flower shop operation, as well as having served as a field consultant for Conroy's Corporation. .. |
