80 clock hours. In this ten day class, students will learn the fundamental tools they need to succeed in today's floral marketplace. Lectures are followed with demonstrations and hands-on practice. Phil believes, "If you hear it, you see it, you do it, and you will retain it." Covered topics are basic design elements and principals along with color theory, flower identification, care and handling; flower shop operations, sales and 'pricing for profit'. Instruction of arrangements for Sympathy, Wedding, Special Event and current design styles are taught.

Advanced Floral Design - tuition $595.00
24 clock hours. This three day class includes instruction of contemporary and geometric designs incorporating the unique foliage weaving and braiding techniques of Phil Rulloda. Students will learn European styles such as the Waterfall, Parallel and Biedermeier. Accelerated techniques used for Armatures, hand-tied bouquets, experimental and interpretive designs.
Also includes designing for competition - "You’re in it to win it!" - learn techniques that will help you win.

Advanced Wedding Floral Design - tuition $350.00
16 clock hours. In this two day class students learn flowers for the bridal party, including techniques used for current trends and classical bouquet styles. Styles such as the Duchess Rose and the Cascade are taught, as are hand-tied bouquets and unique. personal floral accessories like fashionable boutonnieres, wristlets and corsages. Pricing and selling of wedding flowers is covered.

Event and Decor Floral Design - tuition $550.00
24 clock hours. In this three day class, students learn to make the reception portion of the wedding event. You'll cover fresh floral designs and accessories for themed events including creating floral props. Pricing, planning, coordinating and selling special event décor is also covered.

Novelty Floral Design - tuition $199.00
8 clock hours. This one-day class teaches whimsical, one-of-a-kind fresh flower arrangements that shop owners love to sell (and caterers use to make their buffets unique). Students will learn to make the Poodle in a Basket, Clown Face, Ice Cream Soda and various decorative food items.

Hand-tied Bouquet Design - tuition $199.00
8 clock hours. This hands-on class will teach students European techniques to create unique bouquets in the hand. Classical spiral styles as well as contemporary applications with high style armatures will be incorporated into designs suitable for weddings and for vase arrangements. This specialized one-day class is held three times a year.

Holiday Flowers Workshop - tuition $199.00
In this workshop, students will create beautiful Christmas designs for their homes or office. The four (4) projects include a wreath, a door swag, a Christmas centerpiece and a holiday topiary using fresh winter foliages, flowers and “Bling”. Students will take the projects home at the conclusion of the seminar. These projects are suitable for both beginners and experienced floral designers.
