Professional and novice designers are invited to enter the AIFD South West Region’s floral design competition: How Green is My Wedding. Held Saturday, April 4 at 7:00 pm in the College of Southern Nevada Ornamental Horticulture Department, contestants will create an intimate wedding sweetheart table for two on-site.
Each contestant will be provided a 41″ square table and the designer is to bring his/her own linens, flowers, place settings and accessories. There is no limit on overall size or budget.
Professional designers will be given 30 minutes to create their table decor. Students and novices will be given 45 minutes.
The winners of both divisions will receive commemorative placques. Refreshments will be served and this event is open to all attendees.
