The Arrangement TV Show Premier Party

by Phil on October 3, 2010

Cathy and I were delighted to be invited as guests to the Premiere Party for Logo TV’s new floral designer reality series The Arrangement.  The show pits 10 florists’ design skills in a variety of challenges to see who will win top honors.

I’m especially please that two of my  former students from The Southern California School of Floral Design, Anil Pacheco and Eddie Zaratsian, were selected as contestants. Both studied advanced techniques here and their skills really showed in the premier episode.

Anil is a popular freelance event designer in  Orange County and Eddie is the owner of one of LA’s most successful flower shops, Tic-Tock Couture Florist. (Both are pictured below with myself, Cathy and Eddie’s lovely wife, Anna.)

The Arrangement will air on Monday nights at 11 PM on LOGO (check your local listings) starting on October 4 and is also available for download on iTunes.

If the rest of the series is anything like the first episode, viewers will be treated to a highly entertaining, spicy, insider look at the many challenges faced by floral artists.

A ‘Top Chef’ or ‘Project Runway’ version on floral designers is long overdue and I’m truly thankful that the team at World of Wonders chose to highlight the many talents needed to be a successful at what we do.

Good luck, guys and gals. Break a stem.
